She should have remained working. It is the mayor that needs to resign. He is the superior and the one in a position of power in the working relationship. I can't help but think Ms. Beatty is being pegged as the whore and poor ol' Kwame as simply a pawn in her web of sex and lies. This is degrading to women since it perpetuates a stereo type and smacks of chauvinism. I'm not one for being "PC" but this situation just makes me sick.
