Where were you 42 years ago?

Where were you this day 42 years ago? I had yet to be born, nor was my family even on this side of the Atlantic, but those who were alive in this country will never forget it. They still refer to it as the end of an era, the loss of innocence, and the loss of all faith in honest government. On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. One gentleman I spoke to remembers taking a break from class, from what was then Wayne University, and hearing the initial news from a homeless man. Another coworker was in third grade at the time and remembers wondering what a president was and why everyone cared so much.
