Bye-Bye Tonsils

My daughter is having a tonsillectomy this morning up here at Beaumont-Royal Oak.

Whether you pray, chant or meditate, please send some good vibes our way, would ya? Yeah, I know it’s a common and simple procedure, but I’m a first-time parent… be gentle.

Hope everyone got to their morning destination in one piece today; it’s fairly nasty today.

UPDATE: Kid came through with the proverbial flying colors. HUGE tonsils, HUGE adenoids, said the surgeon. This will, of course, increase her energy lev… OH SHIT!

Thanks again for all the good karma, my pretties.

I was her age when I got my tonsils taken out — hope it’s a piece of cake like my procedure was. Good luck, little one (and parents).

Had mine pulled when I was 22, should have been years before that but the doctors were tools.

Hope all goes well. Stock up on the popsicles!

Tonsils… do those always have to come out? Yikes… I don’t think I’ve had mine taken out. Wonder what it’d feel like for a 37 year old to go through that…

Sorta like Rusty Pliers Yank’n on a Tongue?
