I went out ice-skating at Campus Martius for the first time with a bunch of people from work who were also out for the first time. Last winter I decided to do something about the shame I felt in being Canadian and not being able to skate.     FALLING — That’s EXACTLY why I don’t even attempt to skate. If we were intended to skate, we’d have been born with steaming mugs of hot chocolate at the ends of our wrists instead of hands.
