Finally made it home after four days of marathon driving to and from the east coast. Even my surburbanite boyfriend commented he had never been so happy to see Detroit as he was tonight. Yea, it is nice to be home.
And goodness, is Ohio not the longest stretch of driving or what? I swear the four hours there felt longer than the seven in New York.

You know, I’ve found that traveling on long trips with a loved one (especially car trips) really tell you about your relationship. Something about being cooped up for 14 hours in close quarters (or being in a foreign land with language barriers and dependent upon each other) that really tests the bond.

good point jeff… glad you guys survived mgal… i’ve done a portion of that trip and winding through the mountains in pennsylvania always seemed the most memorable part…
