according to a Detroit News article, Detroit is no longer a top 10 fattest city in America… woohoo!!! after being rated being the fattest American city in 2004, and holding firm at number 3 in 2005, Detroit has now plummeted to number 15…

The criteria for judging isn’t very reliable, but still at least somewhat reflective of the city. In any case, it is some good PR.

Well heck, we’re not longer #1 for Fattest city?! And here I was, bulking up – eating lots of extra portions and desserts in order to maintain our “Grand” status.

At least Detroit is still #1 for potholes! Yeee Haw!

It isn’t that Detroiters have gotten slimmer and fitter. It is the other cities have just gotten fatter and more unfit.

Plus downtown is pretty walkable. Ask my family – even on Christmas Day, I made them walk to church.

I was just watching Super-Size Me the other night and at the very end they state how Detroit is #1. I made it a point to inform everyone at the party of our much lower rank for this year.
