Corporate Crap Part II
In keeping with Baliad’s earlier subject, there are new findings just released about retail in the D’. The expanded downtown area has demand for 125,000 square feet of grocery stores and 389,000 square feet of clothing, furniture, electronics and other non-grocery shopping.
This new information comes from research done by Social Impact and the Brookings Institution among others. One of the first priorities after clean and safe streets is more retail and restaurants that stay open after 5 p.m.
Here is my list:
Whole Foods
Target
Hot Topic (you can stop laughing now)
ABC Warehouse
JoAnn Fabrics
