Weekend watching

The nice part of the weekend was I could watch all the World Cup games I desired. I didn’t however get the results I wanted from those games. Arghhhh..

Saturday, we monitored a few games through the internet/radio and then watched the end of the US/Italy game. The US got lucky that Italy wasn’t playing their best, but even then Italy looked like the better team. Sunday was the crucial France/Korea game, which I watched with my boyfriend and his father (both french citizens). Oh, man – what a disappointment.

First, I will say – France was cheated a goal. Second, if that is the last time we see Zidane play at the international level, bummer. He accumulated two yellow cards so won’t play in the game against Togo.

I think the best part of World Cup is calculating all the options that would enable a team to advance. So how are you liking this World Cup?

World Cup

World Cup starts tomorrow. Now the big question is where to watch the games? ABC/ESPN will be showing most of the games, but what if you don’t have cable. What bars will be catering to World Cup fans?

I’ve been told Currents and Spectadium (their website seems broken) may show some of the games. Anyone know of
